Sidecar for Kajabi is a browser extension that adds one-click data export to the Kajabi admin dashboard. It is built privacy-first: it runs entirely in your browser, and your data never leaves your device.

What the extension accesses

Current-view export (free). When you click Export CSV or Export JSON, Sidecar reads only the data table on the Kajabi page (app.kajabi.com) you are currently viewing, and saves it as a file to your computer.
Full export (Pro) — only when you click it. When you click Full export, Sidecar fetches your own contact profile pages from Kajabi (the same /admin/contacts/… pages you can open yourself) to gather fields the list view doesn't show — such as phone, address, tags, and custom fields. This runs only on that click, is processed entirely in your browser, and the results are saved directly to your computer.

What leaves your device

Nothing. All exports are generated locally and downloaded through your browser. Sidecar has no analytics, no tracking, and no server of its own. It never transmits your Kajabi data anywhere.

Settings

Your preferences (enabled state, toolbar visibility, export format) are stored using Chrome's storage.sync so they follow your Chrome profile. They contain no personal data from Kajabi.

Payments

The optional Pro upgrade is handled by ExtensionPay, with payment processing by Stripe. Sidecar never sees or stores your payment details. Please refer to ExtensionPay's and Stripe's privacy policies for how they handle payment data.

No background activity

Sidecar only acts when you click one of its buttons. It does not run in the background, does not crawl your account on its own, and only operates on app.kajabi.com.
